Live-In Nanny Position – Society Hill, Philadelphia

A warm and loving family of three in Society Hill, Philadelphia, is seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in nanny to join their household. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek, providing general care and supervision for their 4-year-old daughter, who attends school within walking distance two days a week.

About the Role: As the family navigates a unique situation, with Mom at home but managing illness, your primary responsibility will be caring for their bright and active daughter. The family seeks someone who can provide stability and support, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment. While Mom has nurses and aides frequently visiting, she requires additional help with her daughter as she’s unable to fully engage most of the time. Dad works in New York City three days a week, making your presence crucial during those days.

The family is also considering a potential move to New York City next year. They are looking for a nanny who is open to relocating with them if the opportunity arises, although this is not certain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and loving care for the 4-year-old girl, including engaging her in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Assist with school pick-up and drop-off, as the school is within walking distance.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the child, ensuring a balanced diet.
• Maintain a daily routine for the child, including nap times, outdoor play, and educational activities.
• Help with light household tasks related to the child, such as tidying her play areas and managing her laundry.
• Be flexible and accommodating to the family’s needs, as they navigate Mom’s care and Dad’s work schedule.
• Be open to relocating if the family decides to move to NYC next year.
