Environmental Scientist or Engineer to work with our EHS Compliance team on providing environmental consulting services to various industrial clients across the region.

Let's solve the big problems together. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: - Permit application development (e.g., air emissions, storm water discharges, wastewater discharges, etc.)
- Environmental plan development and updates, such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCPs)
- Environmental compliance reporting, such as air emissions reporting, hazardous waste generator reporting, and Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting (i.e., Tier II and Form R)
- Conduct facility and site visits to gather information for written project work
- Write technical reports and support development of client proposals
- Comprehend and interpret regulations and guidelines
What you will bring to the team: - Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar field of study
- 0-2 years of experience with some knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry preferred, but not required
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
- Ability to perform field work and travel overnight
- Strong written and technical writing skills

•Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee

GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.-Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices
Salary Range: $$66,300 - $76,000 based on experience.
