Shift: Day

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and work as needed

Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of construction related tasks. The position plays a vital role in ensuring successful completion of construction projects within Baptist Health facilities. The job exists to assist skilled tradespeople in various tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of construction projects, focusing on indoor projects within hospital environments. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to support construction, renovation, and maintenance projects, ensuring the work site remains safe, clean, and efficient. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to hospital safety protocols, and the ability to work in sensitive healthcare environments.

Other information:
Education - High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred but not required.
Prior experience as a laborer in construction or renovation projects is preferred but not required (experience in hospital environments is a plus).

Familiarity with basic construction tools and materials.
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with hospital staff and patients.
Willingness to adhere to hospital dress codes and work schedules, which may involve nights, weekends, or shifts as required by hospital projects.

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly. Baptist Health
