Business Development Capture Analyst
Location: HQ - Fairfax, VA
Hybrid Remote – 3 days onsite per week

Position Overview:

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a talented Business Development Capture Analyst to assist in expanding business opportunities within the federal and DoD sectors. This role offers a chance to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative solutions for our government customer needs.

It is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of the federal contracting process.
Additionally, the candidate should possess the capability to establish, build, and sustain customer relationships, while also evaluating competitor capabilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities and skills are a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Research new business opportunities and support existing business within Federal Agencies.
  • Research and understand Federal customer requirements and increase awareness of NIS’ capabilities.
  • Support a pipeline of qualified opportunities and develop a detailed analysis of new opportunities.
  • Build out opportunity analysis within the company’s GovWin and Technomile. 
  • Generate reports from Technomile.
  • Support the capture process and assist the proposal team on Federal opportunities. Support gate (bid/no-bid) reviews.
  • Support analyzing IDIQ/BPA Task Orders and coordination with partner companies on opportunities.
  • Research opportunities using GovWin IQ, sam.gov, and Technomile.
 
Job Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in the procurement processes of the US Government.
  • Familiarity with the proposal process and creation for Government Contractors.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Team player capable of working within a collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter who exhibits attention to detail and expert organization skills.
  • Fully capable of using MS 365 Office Suite Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer service/client-facing skills. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Skills:
  • Proficiency in the procurement processes of the US Government is a PLUS.
  • Familiarity with the proposal process and creation for Government Contractors
  • GovWin/Deltek experience is a PLUS.
  • Demonstrated high energy, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit

  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to keep objectives and goals firmly in sight.
